This is a favourite of mine especially if you are low in energy and need a boost!Way better than reaching for a coffee and snack!Ginger is a great immune booster and anti -inflammatory!Turmeric is a good antioxidant and anti-inflammatory!The next time you have that 3pm afternoon slump,try reaching for your carrot smoothie and give yourself a boost!
Ingredients;
2 to 3 medium carrots peeled and chopped
2 oranges peeled
3cm of grated ginger
150ml water or almond milk(depending on preference)
Tiny pinch of Turmeric(if desired)
Method:
Place all ingredients in a Smoothie Maker or Blender and whisk.Add more water or almond milk if required.
