Tai chi for fitness

Tai chi is an internal Chinese Martial art,but it can be practiced by beginners and experienced practitioners for Health and Weight Management. It also has beneficial effects on psychological wellbeing.Tai chi helps to improve your Qi (energy flow) , builds stamina and improves your balance. An article from the Mayo clinic website said”Tai chi is sometimes described as meditation in motion because it promotes serenity through gentle movements-connecting the mind and body”. If you are working on weight loss and also want to enhance your psychological wellbeing and flexibility,it is hard to beat Tai chi.A study of 374 adults over a twelve week period of Tai chi training found an average loss of 0.50 in body weight and 0.47 in fat mass compared with a control group.Tai chi not only helps your fitness but enhances the mind body connection making you less likely to engage in emotional comfort eating between meals.Practicing Tai chi online is of great benefit during the current lockdowns.
