Recycling Your Wardrobe

This morning,I opened my wardrobe and had a revelation,I have not worn half of it in two years, not because I don’t like the clothes, but I have had no weddings and few functions to go to with the lockdowns! This made me think alot of people are in the same position, wouldn’t it be a good idea to try and move our clothes on in an eco-friendly way? So if you have preloved clothes taking up wardrobe space and fancy a change, there are a couple of options!!You could organise a sale/swap meetup with some friends for a fresh look in your wardrobe.A seamtress near me advertises upcycling clothes;if the item is of good quality and you like the material ,it may be a good idea to check out someone handy with a sewing machine near you! An article on BBC.com says 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions come from the fashion industry.Maybe it is time to rethink our wardrobe strategy if we fancy a different look, and see it as an eco friendly endeavour!
